Jesse Berst’s Anchordesk, which I’m ashamed to admit I subscribe to (hey, my boss does, and, um, I need to know what he’s gonna bitch at me about. yeah.) has a feature today on how high tech companies are failing at basic tech support tasks.
Origin’s answer, of course, is one Gateway and Dell never thought of – get unpaid volunteers to do it for you. I wonder how soon it will be before that “solution” trickles down to the rest of the industry…
