I wonder if you could have used the Imperator mouse with the Imperator game.

Depends on how they pronounce it, really.
That’s the most exciting video for a mouse I have ever seen. For years, I’ve blamed my constant failure and death in video games on my inept skill, if only I had known that it was my mouse the whole time!
Argh. Imperator was without a doubt the MMO that I looked forward to the most out of those that never made it. There’s nothing really like it out there today, and I would MUCH rather have had that than the game that WAR turned out to be.
I remember playing a short demo of Imperator at the E3 when WAR was announced. I know they did it to look all cool, but Mythic got the most awkward seat/stations I had ever sat in hooked up to the computers. :~(
A mouse company that continues to turn out mice at a higher-than-usual price by hyping insubstantial features versus a MMORPG with substantial features that faltered in development due to lack of notice. There’s some social commentary to be found there, I’m sure.
I… wow. I mean… a trailer for a mouse. Aside from the looks it’s not even impressive.
I wonder if such a mouse will leave a sinking MMO ship at a faster speed.
@DragonPup: You still sat down and played through it a bunch, though. I remember needing to kick you off a couple of times, I believe. =)

Imperator with Gamebryo? Why not just shoot yourself in the leg? Oh wait, Mythic did that with Warhammer and that was just some slow-paced fantasy point & click.
I remember some rather scathing forum warrior thread I made about up coming Imperator and then it was happily canceled. I felt so clever.
Seriously though why why why didnt Mythic make DAoC 2.
Probably the same reason why EA decided against making an Ultima Online 2 (twice): it runs the risk of competing against their own product.
That’s nothing for mmo fans. Razer Naga is the one true mouse tailored to mmo gamers!!
