Previously, on Broken Toys, with J’s help we pointed out to you Mark Jacobs’ protective eye gear.

Today, we have uncovered a disturbing image, from Mythic’s Warhammer credits video:

This MEANS something, I know it does. What could it be…?

I know that they were giving away (and signing) those things on launch day. One of the vids that Mythic put up showed ‘em.

They’ve been handing out the glasses at fan gatherings etc. since at the least last year. I have a pair from Games Day UK 2007 sitting under my monitor….
Hmm, maybe it’s a Sontaran plot?

The Truth About the Glasses:
2 or 3 years ago, Jeff and Paul were doing an early interview with Game Trailers. The camera man was using a particularly bright light that started bugging them. Jeff pulled out his sun glasses and put them on and felt much better. Paul had no glasses, but noticed that the interviewer – the always-hip Daniel Kaiser – had an enormous pair of funky white sunglasses with him, which Paul promptly stole and put on.
From that point forward, Paul decided he loved big, white sunglasses and started wearing them everywhere. Eventually, fans started to ask about them, so we started having WAR-branded glasses made up to give out at shows and such.
The rest of the team often wears the glasses in interviews or on video as a sort of “esprit de corps” thing. I’ve probably got ten pairs lying around myself and would probably wear them more often if they fit my enormous head more comfortably.
The End.

What I MEANT to say is that we’ve started a secret society that will rise up and take control of America once the economy collapses and monkeys gain the power of speech.

It means the WAR devs shop at dupont circle for their sunglasses…
And we ALL know what that means…

No surprise that the origin of the stupid ass sunglasses is as shallow and empty as the Brit twit who started it.

This means something … this is important.
Are you making plateaus out of your mashed potatoes again or what?
How long until you start dragging dirt into your living room and go for the real scale model?
