OK, This Is Getting Rather Silly

I went out for a drink last night and showed up on the news.

NO, REALLY.

Whew, I was kinda afraid there might be some paris hilton-like exposure there!

Don’t worry though, when Richard Garriott gets back from space with his super powers, I am sure he will rescue everyone!

See, those conspiracy theories are all right. They really are watching you!!!

Ahh I’m sad. You didn’t look that drunk.

That’ll teach you to go to the Boat.

The layoffs were partially due to a game project that fall through.

Which makes me think that 100 people are unemployed now because of Scott’s insistance that permadeath and an 850 (780 more than WoW!) level cap be the core components of his MMO. I hope you’re happy.

Would love to see the video, but it’s stuck in an endless loop of popup windows and a page not found…

Well at least you get something to brag about!

The ad before the news clip played talked about an experimental bunion removal technique.

Perhaps the developers out of work could get some extra cash participating in human trial tests. And get rid of those painful swells on their feet!

Clearly the news was desperately low on clips, so they had to stick you in there. ;-)

Gee all I saw was a video on Austin’s homeless. Didn’t recognize you though.

It must be hard to focus on that new job, what with all the media whoring.

What’s next, hosting the Today show? :)

NCSoft dropped 200, but I guess they couldn’t find any of those folks, so they went with Midway being the largest layoff at 100. :)

Scott, your new nickname is now:

    Forrest Gump

Any idea of when the video showing you in the background at the brokering of the Iraq time-table deal is going to hit?

NCsoft dropped 21, not 200. Spacetime dropped something like 30-40. Midway’s is the highest single-studio drop in Austin right now.

I’m glad I was fashionably late and decided to eat something at the sit-down areas at the front part of Opal Divine’s before I went in drinking and schmoozing. I was hungry.
