Ok…i just read all 3. Mmmm…a little unhinged on the bloggin there guy. I’d tone it down some…you still have some work left in ya
I never played SWG and only know of the NGE what I’ve read about, but I would concur with Rubenfields conclusion that once the groundwork systems design for an MMO are done, they shouldn’t be changed radically after launch really. May as well make v2.0 or a new game with your fancy-shmancy new mechanics or whatever. Of course the inherent problem with MMO’s is that a) they do change quite a bit over time anyway, and b) you want the product to live as long as possible. It’s not like a single-player RBP ship/patch and forget :/
