What is funnier?
* That Comedy Central did an Election 2008/World of Warcraft crossover parody
* That the person tasked with writing it hadn’t actually ever played World of Warcraft
* That the nerd rage pointing this out exploded.
* That Hilary Clinton is a female dwarf, who has the vocal emote “I’LL HAVE YOU KNOW I CAN FLATTEN STEEL WITH MY THIGHS“.

When does nerd rage not explode when you cross a MMO with politics? (or any other real world material for that matter). ZOMG THEY IGNORED SHAMEN/HORDE!!!
*sigh* Satire is lost on most MMOers.
If I had to pick from the list above, I’d go with flattening steel.

The question is, did the raging nerds vote?
#3 by Aufero on April 23rd, 2008
Nerd rage is always funnier.

Reminds me of Something Awful’s Truth Media, where they’d post fake reviews and the ensuing nerd rage:

Is it a sad thing that the white man’s single more entertaining contribution to the world in the last 10 years is, in fact, nerd rage?
Not limiting it to white guys, but c’mon, we really did invent it.

It’s a little-known fact that Nerd Rage stems form being suspended by your underwear in 5th grade.
For me, at least.

(sorry, di’n't complete my thought)
That’s why Aufero is right.
(you may now return to ignoring me)

Nerd rage seems contagious… so I’m going to avoid commenting on it

I have to say that the idea is epic, but the analysis is just way off.
Overall, good idea but bad everything else. I have to say whoever did that job got a good idea but screwed it. Too bad it could be really fun.

CC has been pretty good at being relevant with regards to internet and gaming lately. It was only a matter of time before somebody fucked up. I don’t think this’ll stop them from trying. If anything, they’ll take it fairly seriously and make him roll a *insert class that takes too long to level* to 70.

I’d have lost money on that bet. No way I would have thought people would get pissed off about that…. and I probably should have known better. Oh well, back to critiquing people’s spelling.

His response just makes me sad, why is he arguing with the brain dead? even the more mature ones who criticized him, why even respond.

His response to the Nerd Rage was amazing, I could just see the Old Man Spittle flying from his lips as he raged on.
I had never before seen an old nerd truely rage at these uppity tech nerds with their newfangled head sets and apparently not-real-people friends online. I had seen people joking about “back in my day” but this was a first for what appears to be true rage at those disrespectful young whippershappers… it makes me proud
it means as a class nerds, have been around long enough for the new nerdlings to disrespect their elders nerds, and for the elder nerds to express the desire to wipe said nerdlings off the face of the earth while rocking their chair on the front porch, cradling a shot gun in one arm and a bottle of moonshine in the other.
