    One of the worst possible things you have to do as a a manager is fire someone.

    PowerPoint is easy to use. Project is easy to use. Both are indispensable.

    Yes, PowerPoint is useful in situations where you’re trying to explain something complex to a roomful of people. However, (In accordance with Sturgeon’s Law) 90% of the time it’s used to pad out two minutes worth of information into an hour and a half of bullet-pointed boredom and fantasy.

    Project is easy to use up until the point you actually try to use it for work (rather than demos and training and such).
