I scored “Risque-Intense”, which I think means I should be playing Second Life. Or I curse a lot.

Colorful-Disciplined. Actually a fairly good description.

Clean-disciplined. Pretty accurate, but I’m probably JUST this side of “Colorful”. A funny and informative quiz. Thanks for the link!

Colorful-Disciplined here. Makes sense; I tend to not take the games too seriously, and I do like my Monty Python

Well I’ll enter my own uniqueness now, Colorful-Disciplined. Yeah I’m a maverick.
#5 by Stormwaltz on October 2nd, 2007
Sadly, I had to quit when it started asking questions about the guilds I haven’t belonged to since 2001. Doesn’t this quiz know people are broken?!

Colorful-Disciplined and ready to take over the world (Muhahahaha!) if I don’t have to use too much profanity and it doesn’t involve raiding day and night.

Risque-Intense here, strangely enough. Which is weird, I mean, yeah, our guild chat is pretty loose, but we’re relatively respectful outside of it, and well, yeah, so our main raid party is technically working on downing Kael, but in the meantime, My highest raid group is a Karazhan raid that still has trouble downing the Prince consistently, heh.
However… Yeah. I don’t uh. Always wear pants. So maybe there’s a point there!
I’m a Bachelor, Okay? What’s the point of being a Bachelor if you can’t have pants optional days, I ask you?

Colorful-Disciplined aswell here.
Seems Lum is the only one to scare vastly different.
Maybe the “Being a Dev Fanboy is weird” question has something to do with that.

Yikes, Risque-Intense here despite having a rather dim view of unnecessary profanity in /gu.
I guess the still waters run deep or something…

Another Risque-Intense here. I don’t really understand the latter, I have been in maybe half a dozen raids. Risque, okay. If there were a game with a better client and less idiots than Second Life I’d be all over it.

Colourful – Disciplined. Which is a fairly accurate guild description. Although my guild was no 1 or 2 Mid guild for a long time on our server.

The test is in beta – the results are pretty good, except the risque/intense bucket seems to be turning into a catchall. Gotta dink with it some more

I ended up with Risque-Intense myself though I never swear or even really interact with people given a choice.
#14 by ReptileHouse on October 2nd, 2007
Risque-Intense here, too. I have a sneaking suspicion it was those “robe and wizard hat” answers that did me in.
I had a hard time picking an answer for a few of the questions. There wasn’t really anything that was close to what my natural reaction is. For example, the question about “your guild rank slipped from #2 to #17.” My reaction is along the lines of, “Ah, man. That’s a bummer. Wonder what happened,” followed by a shrug and wandering off to continue on with whatever it was I was doing before.

RI here as well. The risque is a given with me, that’s certain. But the intense is a little unexpected, considering I’m barely in any guilds … but then I also play five hours or more a day so I probably confused it a bit. It’s not sure what to do with dedicated soloers.

Colorful-Disciplined. Seems to be alot of us out there.
#17 by Wendelius on October 2nd, 2007
We seem to be getting only 2 buckets though. Is this intended? Isn’t there more to MMOing than Colourful – Disciplined and Risque – Intense?

I FEEL LIKE A UNIQUE SNOWFLAKE.

Colorful-disciplined. Go fig.

Risque-Intense
I guess I prefer mature audiences, or don’t really care.
#21 by Soulflame on October 2nd, 2007
Colorful-disciplined.
Just like most everyone else, apparently.
#22 by hellfire on October 2nd, 2007
Risque-Intense. The description pretty much fits me perfectly.
* Risque indicates players and guilds who prefer a mostly uncensored environment.
* Intense players and guilds are organized, and expect a high level of attention to what’s happening in the game.
That about sums it up. I don’t care overmuch about being l337 ubergamer, just that people show up to play and bring some form of A-game.

Colorful-Disciplined based on playing back in 2002 … :p

Colorful-Disciplined.
I think that means I like CoV.

Colorful-Disciplined.
There were a number of questions that just didn’t have any answer that fit. For instance, sometimes I wear pants, sometimes I don’t. There were a lot of questions that had only the extremes — have you presented a game company rep with a looseleaf notebook sized list of suggestions, or not? No space in there for a small folder full. A lot of the sex-related questions didn’t seem to take married people, people who prefer male partners, etc., into account. There’s just not a wide enough range of responses. As a personal example, I don’t usually swear in /g because it dilutes the impact of it when I do let loose, but that doesn’t mean it bothers me when someone else does. If I had to choose between purely G-rated and entirely X-rated, I’d pick the latter; I prefer freedom over the dubious “purity” of not seeing certain combinations of letters. But there was really no way to indicate that.
In short, it needs some serious tweaking.

Agreeing with Wanderer here, but mostly I would like to see adressed are the relations between questions.
I get to say my guild will never ever use teamspeak or whatever for coordination. 3 questions later I have to give my opinion on burping in (a nonexistent) voicechat.
Also some questions/answers dont come across very clearly.
For Example “You do know being a Dev fanboi is weird, right?”. There’s Yes and No. But is that a “Yes, they freak me out.” or a “Yes, but i don’t care.” or a “Yes, I feel ashamed of myself.” ?
#27 by bonedead on October 3rd, 2007
Risque-Intense here as well. I believe it was a combination of not wearing pants and the wizard robe and hat (which correctly is robe and wizard hat btw) selections.

Colourful-Disciplined here…kinda spot on for me..a great test!
#29 by Sutro on October 4th, 2007
RI, but didn’t feel that was a perfect fit.
