The communists really did latch onto some important observations (e.g. the destruction of the extended and nuclear families by productivity and materialism, or economic efficiencies overwhelming both tradition and culture for better and worse alike), but they managed to couch it all in the most arrogant, moralistic, and condescendingly academic language. I spent the whole time switching from saying ‘good point’ to screaming ’shut up, asshole’, and back again. Too bad these ideas didn’t have less offensive spokesmen.

I tried..I really, really tried, but I just couldn’t make it past the 5 minute mark. I felt my consciousness slipping away from me.
Some people have waaaaay too much time on their hands… In other words, WTF, over?
