Well, isn’t that a thing? Funny they call it a merger, but the article says White Wolf will be a subsidiary of CCP. Would be interesting to find out the financial details, but both companies are private.
“White Wolf will leverage CCP’s industry-leading technologies to bring its offline role-playing titles online. Conceptualization and early development has begun to bring White Wolf’s World of Darkness, one of the world’s strongest gaming properties, into the online world.”

Definitely interesting.

Look at the trading cards aspect. White Wolf have some experience in the area and CCP have just launched the EVE version.
I doubt we’ll see a world of Darkness MMO in the works any time soon.

I would pay $15/month to kill a bunch of undead bottom-feeder goths.

Does this mean that we’ll get a Street Fighter MMO!?

Maybe.

Vampires in Space. Do it.

Nah, from South America.
Vampire Online. Permadeath is only the beginning.
Speaking seriously, there could be a lot of possibility here.

Vampire MMORPG: finally a reason why my character can get back up again after being shot for the 10,000th time.

Cael – Other than the one they already published?

@Foo:
Link would be nice. But i meant a CCP/WW collaboration. The population imbalance issues alone would be (no pun intended) monstrous.

Major brain fart, my bad. I parsed MMO as CCG. There’s no World of Darkness MMO that I know of.
November 13th, 2006 - 16:43
But there may be in 2-4 years:
“White Wolf will leverage CCP’s industry-leading technologies to bring its offline role-playing titles online. Conceptualization and early development has begun to bring White Wolf’s World of Darkness, one of the world’s strongest gaming properties, into the online world.”
Of course, the devil is in the details.
