As reported on Slashdot, UGO is now sending its endlessly hopeful affiliates new contracts that enjoin the affiliates from suing UGO for breaking the other 9,322 contracts that UGO has sent out to its very hopeful and optimistic affiliates.
So, basically, if UGO’s affiliates want to continue to be promised money, they have to sign new contracts (again!) for a retroactive lower ad rate (again!) and also sign away the right to sue UGO for the rest of the money owed them from OTHER new contracts they signed before.
It’s BIZARRO BUSINESS!
UGO isn’t in bad shape though. After all, they just acquired every E/N site on the web!
